Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Financial Planning and Analysis Sr Manager to manage financial planning, manage the budget and budget analysis process, develop pricing strategies, and analyze pricing for all government and commercial projects. The FP&A Sr. Manager will design and implement monthly management reporting, develop and examine budgets, improve efficiency, and work diligently to increase profits. As part of their overall duties, they will influence decisions that concern performance evaluation and policy adoption and analysis. The individual will also conduct training sessions and implement new budget procedures. Additionally, they will also work directly with the CFO, finance team, account leadership, and proposal team members to develop winning compliant price proposals and provide financial planning and management analysis to company leadership. Further, they will support contract proposal preparation, strategic pricing discussions, competitor price analysis, proposal price volume development, the development and management of DCAA cost rates, and related departmental duties. 

Financial Planning and Analysis Sr Manager Job Responsibilities 

 The FP&A Sr Manager will fill a Sr Manager-level role on our Finance team and will report to the CFO. As a Sr Manager, they may be expected to coach and mentor junior team members within and outside of the Finance team. Specific key duties of this role include:

  • Financial Modeling: They will develop a financial model to track the annual and long-term budget with the ability to perform cost benefit analysis, what-if scenario planning, and identify potential funding requirements.
  • Budgeting & Reforecasting: Review operational and financial proposals submitted by operations functions and client industry leads. They will check for accuracy and conformance to corporate policy, procedures and federal regulations and assist in developing a consolidated budget. They will identify gaps in resources, conduct return on investment analysis, run budget scenarios, and track actual performance against budget. 

  • Pricing: Consult with client teams regarding price strategy, review of and assist in preparation of new and follow-on price proposals, coordination with contracts management on government wide schedule contracts and rates, participation in GSA and DCAA audits, administrative coordination of proposal contract, and legal reviews, and maintaining the EHC proprietary pricing models. 

What are the Required Qualifications? 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in Financial Modeling, Budgeting and Reforecasting and Pricing 
  • Knowledge of budget formulation and execution in a professional services industry
  • Knowledge of DCAA pricing and cost accounting standards, FAR/DFARS and other government regulations 
  • Knowledge of government wide contract vehicles such as GS, MAS, HCats, etc and experience negotiating pricing modifications 
  • Expertise and experience working with Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools
  • Experience in developing Excel-based financial models
  • Strong numerical, mathematical, and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the US

  •  Experience working with Microsoft PowerBI
